This summer I've had lot's of people staying at my house and when two sisters from Ukraine were here something cool happened: Victoria saw that I was working with some giraffe pictures on my computer and said that there was "a guy on the internet trying to collect one million giraffes because his friend said he couldn't". She even made a cookie giraffe a few months earlier and sent it! It was kinda hard to convince her that I was that guy, but when she saw my name on the "what is this?"-page she believed me.
The world certainly is small! :)

(I was actually on his radio show in June last year. You can hear it here. Only in Norwegian though)

Roy Søbstad, a cartoonist:

Terje Formoe, an artist and writer most known for his "Kaptein Sabeltann" stories and plays:

Torbjørn Lien, a cartoonist:

Eli Rygg, an actress:

Knut Nærum, a comedian and writer (one of my absolute favorites):

Thomas Dybdahl, an artist:

NRKBeta, not really a person but a blog "behind the scenes" of NRK (the biggest media house in Norway):

And finally a bonus giraffe that's not Norwegian, but of an American celebrity, Stephen Colbert (I love his show):

"Here in Phoenix, we have an art gallery called Arizona Arts Collective that exhibits art done by people with disabilities (physical and behavioral). It is run by a wonderful lady, Midge White, whose daughter Jennifer has down syndrome and is an excellent artist. Midge has dedicated her life to working for people with disabilities. There are several classes held in the gallery.
I am an engineer, but in my free time I paint and teach kids and adults how to use art as a form of expression. Some of my students have disabilities like autism, down syndrome and some have had brain injuries. Whether they have disabilities or not, they all love love love to paint.
My students can not stop making giraffes since I told them about this project. You have helped bring smiles, happiness and motivation for them. They are always so excited and looking forward to making giraffes. One of the girls in the class wanted to tell you that she uses art to help her get away from the challenges of her daily life. Painting giraffes was very therapeutic for her. I'm sending you some pictures from our class, where you can see our model giraffes on the table."
