I got a toy giraffe from Terje Jøsang (a fan of the project) in the mail last week. He suggested that I should arrange a guessing contest where people can guess when I reach the one million mark. I thought it was a pretty cool idea and since I now have a prize for the winner I didn't see why I shouldn't do this. So you can now win this giraffe:


It's brand new and unused. I'll pay for postage myself and even include a diploma of some sort. You can enter the contest in the orange box to the right, but let me clarify the rules first:

You can only enter once. If no one guesses the exact date I reach one million giraffes, the person who is closest to the correct date wins. I will count days before or after so a guess four days too early would be the same as four days too late. If more than one person guesses the correct date (or closest to it), the person who submitted their guess first wins. I will close the guessing contest when the collection has passed 800,000 giraffes. The winner will be contacted on the submitted email address.
